David Michael Funeral Celebrant - What I do.
My aim is simple. To do whatever is necessary to remove any stress and uncertainty about the content of the ceremony and how it will be conducted.
My success is measured by knowing that no detail has been overlooked and that you and your family can look back and say "The funeral ceremony was conducted exactly as we had anticipated and just as he/she would have wanted."
Whether appointed directly by you or through your chosen funeral director, I will make arrangements to visit you at home or at a venue of your choice.
My aim is to ensure that the ceremony reflects your wishes in every detail. I will be happy to spend time with family members and friends of your loved one, to learn about their life and capture those treasured memories for the ceremony.
The words, music and overall feel will be exactly as you wish. Whether you want a totally non-religious event or would like to have hymns, prayers etc. I will ensure your requirements are fully met.
If family and friends wish to speak at the ceremony, I will be happy to advise and assist with preparation as required. I have found that many people, particularly those unaccustomed to public speaking, have appreciated some input and commented how much it helped them on the day.
I can also suggest appropriate poems or prose as well as suitable music if you are unsure.
On the day I will lead the ceremony and be on hand to offer assistance and support.
